PushWords provides a leading push notification and retargeting platform, and related services (the "Platform") for our enterprise customers around the world ("Customers") to engage with their clients ("Users") through various messaging channels, including but not limited to in-browser messaging. When we Process Personal Information of Users in relation to our Customers' use of the Platform, we Process such Personal Information as a service provider solely on behalf of our Customers in accordance with our agreements with Customers. Accordingly, this Privacy Statement does not apply to Users. If you are a User of one of our Customer's digital properties, you should review that Customer's privacy policy, terms or other notices to learn how that Customer collects and uses information about you, including through the Platform.
In general, PushWords collects information from you based upon our business relationship, your use of our Sites and Services, and includes information that may be deemed Personal Information, such as title, name, address, phone number, email address, user name, Internet Protocol address, and billing and payment information related to payments for Services or programs.
For the purposes of delivering on the features detailed in our Terms of Use, PushWords may further collect User data. This includes, but is not limited to: Type of Browser (incl settings), Operating System, Device Type, User Agent, Cookie Info, IP Address of User access point to Customer properties, User journey data on the Customers properties (for the purpose of relevant segmentation of communication to Users), Geographic location (where Customer is required to notify User of such data collection), and inferred User interest (“segment”) data based upon their on-site behavior. Additionally, Customer may share data with PushWords, including user name, for the purpose of reconciling collected information and delivering on Terms of Use.

Some of the ways that PushWords may collect User Personal Information includes: Cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, analytics information, mobile SDKs, third party mobile measurement partners engaged by the Customers, and in some cases non-cookie technologies, to collect Data associated with particular web browsers or devices.
Depending on how you interact with PushWords, we and our Third Party-service providers may also use Personal Information in a variety of ways, including:
PushWords uses Data to provide services detailed in Terms of Service. This includes, but is not limited to: Personalization, use of User attributes for purposes of allowing Customer segmentation, use of User actions and behaviors for the purpose of allowing Customer to create triggered notifications, locations customization, controlling frequency and cap of a User’s notifications, reporting aggregated and anonymized to the Customer for measuring campaign and notification effectiveness, and for maintaining Customer service and support levels across devices.
PushWords will not share, distribute, leak, or otherwise provide Customer or User data unless for the purpose of: 1) Ensuring enforcement of Terms of Service, 2) Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, or enforceable governmental request, 3) Technical, security, or fraud detection and prevention, and 4) protection from harm against PushWords, Users, or the public.
With respect to Push Notification Services, PushWords acts as a vendor. Hence, PushWords is not facing the User. Therefore, PushWords considers unambiguous consent as the most applicable basis for its’ Customers and Partners who collect Data, including technical identifiers.
Under GDPR, with respect to Push Notification Data, PushWords acts as a processor and the Customer acts as the controller.
To opt out of push notification, User needs to disable the notification setting on his/her browser and mobile application.
Additionally, User may write to [email protected] for any such requests. Once disabled, User will stop receiving notifications immediately.
To re-enable the Push Notification Services, User needs to re-enable the notification setting on his/her browser and/or mobile application.
